Thou Art...

is a one-page, trifold pamphlet TTRPG where you play as knights on a quest to reforge your shattered blades. Grow your swords from the fragments of the monsters you slay, taking back this world piece by piece as you survive in the shadows of an unholy cataclysm.

Your blade is everything. Each piece aligns you to one of the fight Knightly Orders, whose boons are essential to completing your quest. Your blade is also all that keeps you from utter despair or annihilation. Enemies chip away at your blade, potentially weakening your dice and making it that much harder to persevere.

Thou art  what remains... sworn... A Knight!

Your holy blade lies broken. Quest. Redeem!
Roll forth to measure dice against these threats.
Exceed and slay, reforging metal seam.
The lesser shatters to become regrets.

Resolve yourself in oath to Azure Hart,
Or find your courage, Crimson Lion Knight.
While Purple Eagle soars, so keen and smart,
When you must grieve, the Sable Lamb shows might.

While fortune favors Emerald Otters’ skill,
No single oath will claim the victory.
Assist each other, bide your time, and kill.
They will show you no mercy, verily.

And so the task is set, awaiting you!

This game was created for the 2025 One-Page TTRPG Jam. The theme of GROWTH is represented by the player's desire to grow their blade, adding fragments to it as they try to minimize the damage dealt, which could chip or shatter their blade entirely.

Printing Instructions

The printer friendly version is optimized for at-home printing, with no background art to minimize any ugly printer margins. Print it with zero margins, front-and-back, with the "flip on short side" setting. There is a green guideline to the left of the central sword to help you fold the sheet into the intended pamphlet. Face the sword towards yourself, then fold the right side such that its edge is to the immediate right of the guideline. Then fold the left side to cover it. You're ready to play!

GM and Basic rules are visible with a single open - perfect for GMs.

Everything a player needs is visible with all panels open - one sheet per knight!
